Waynesboro Man Arrested on Meth Charges

Timothy Harold Staggs, age 55, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Wednesday, July 5 on charges of manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession/casual exchange. Officer Matthew Patterson of the Waynesboro Police Department filed a report stating that he was dispatched to Staggs’ residence on Clifton Turnpike to assist with a Parole and Probation Officer visit. During the visit, officers allegedly observed that Staggs was in possession of approximately 0.7 grams of methamphetamine in a plastic bag and on a round glass object. Staggs was also allegedly in possession of multiple marijuana “roaches” in plastic containers, and three glass pipes with black and white residue. Staggs was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $55,000.00 bond.
