Collinwood Man Arrested for Evading Arrest, Meth, Fentanyl

Jesse James Rumbaugh, age 22, of Collinwood, was arrested on multiple charges on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Officer Shannon Adams of the Collinwood Police Department filed a report stating that Rumbaugh allegedly failed to stop for lights and sirens and was driving recklessly, endangering other drivers. When Rumbaugh was finally apprehended, he was allegedly found to be in possession of over 0.5 grams of methamphetamine, a black substance in aluminum foil believed to be fentanyl, a glass meth pipe, less than 14 grams of marijuana, and a loaded 9mm handgun. Rumbaugh was arrested on charges of felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of simple possession of marijuana, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $226,500.00 bond.
