4 Mile Market, located just south of Collinwood, was the victim of an armed robbery on Saturday, April 13th, just as the store was closing at approximately 10:05 p.m.

Sheriff Shane Fisher and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects and the vehicle they were driving. Surveillance video captured an image of the pewter gold colored vehicle the suspects were in.

The male and female subjects who robbed the store were wearing masks and were armed with a handgun, according to Sheriff Fisher. The incident lasted approximately five to seven minutes as they came into the store and held the clerk at gunpoint. Sheriff Fisher said that the subjects were able to get away with money and other things valued at less than $2,000. The suspects were last seen headed south on Chisholm Road.

One of the subjects was described as a white male, but as seen in the surveillance photo, he was wearing a mask and gloves.

Sheriff Fisher advises that if you know the whereabouts of these individuals or if you see them, please do not approach them, as they are armed and dangerous. Instead, please contact the dispatch center at 931-722-3613 or dial 911.
