Waynesboro Man Arrested for Meth After Being Stopped on Motorcycle

   Clifford Eugene Martin, Jr., age 62, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Sunday, November 5 on charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of meth with intent. Deputy Darren Pounders filed a report stating that Martin was allegedly observed operating a motorcycle, and Deputy Pounders became aware that Martin’s driver’s license was suspended. When Deputy Pounders performed a traffic stop on Martin, he allegedly located a bag of methamphetamine weighing approximately 1.7 grams inside Martin’s jacket pocket. Martin was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $77,500.00 bond.
