Wayne Co. Sheriff’s Office Makes Large Drug Bust

   On Monday, December 30, 2019, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants at 307 E. Broadway in Collinwood and 2476 Big Cypress in Cypress Inn Tennessee. At these locations, deputies seized approximately 3.5 ounces of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and over $500.00 in currency.

   Michael Shane Kelley, age 36, of Collinwood, was arrested on charges of Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine) with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver , Sell, in a Drug Free Zone; Possession of Schedule VI (Marijuana) with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver , Sell, in a Drug Free Zone; Possession of Schedule II (Morphine); Possession of Schedule III; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond.

   Erik David Holt, age 38, of Cypress Inn, was arrested on charges of Simple Possession/Casual Exchange and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $5,000.00 bond.

   Sheriff Shane Fisher says that it remains one of his top priorities to actively seek out drug dealers and remove them and their drugs from our streets.
