Tracy Lynn Melton, age 47, of Waterloo, AL, was arrested on Thursday, September 7 following a traffic stop. Officer Shannon Adams of the Collinwood Police Department filed a report stating that Melton was stopped for allegedly crossing the yellow and white lines multiple times. The report stated that Melton allegedly failed standardized field sobriety tests and showed other signs of impairment, and refused a blood and/or breath test. Melton was also allegedly found to be in possession of more than 0.5 grams of meth, a small amount of marijuana, and a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. He was charged with DUI 1st offense, violation of the implied consent law, possession of schedule II meth with intent, simple possession of marijuana, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $92,500.00 bond.
