North Carolina Woman Arrested for Weapon and Marijuana at Clifton Prison

   Crystal D. Charron, age 45, of Southport, North Carolina, was arrested on Sunday, November 24^th on charges of possession of a deadly weapon and introduction of contraband into a penal facility. According to the report filed by Investigator Steve Wilson of the Clifton Police Department, when Charron went through a roadblock at South Central Correctional Facility, she was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, 86 grams of marijuana packaged in multiple bags, and drug paraphernalia. Charron was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $100,000.00 bond.
