Methamphetamine, Domestic Assault Result in Arrests on January 27

Roger Dale Pulley, age 72, of Collinwood, was arrested on Thursday, January 27th on methamphetamine charges. Deputy Brett Rinehart filed a report stating that a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle Pulley was driving at 12:36 p.m. on January 27th. After receiving verbal consent to search the vehicle, officers allegedly retrieved a black magnetic box wrapped in electrical tape in the driver’s side rear frame near the gas tank of the vehicle. Inside the black box was a plastic bag containing 1.16 ounces (33 grams) of methamphetamine. A scale used for weighing methamphetamine was also found during the search in the trunk of the vehicle behind the plastic molding. Pulley was charged with manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $85,000.00 bond.

Amanda Eden Sherrill

Amanda Eden Sherrill, age 33, of Collinwood, was arrested on Thursday, January 27th on a charge of aggravated domestic assault. The report filed by Deputy James Brock stated that he was dispatched to a residence on Commanche Circle concerning a domestic in progress. Upon the officer’s arrival at the residence, the homeowner, Arlie Keeton, allegedly stated that Sherrill, his daughter, was inside the home with a knife. Sherrill had allegedly pulled the knife on her father, placing him in fear for his life. Sherrill was allegedly found inside, sitting on a couch with a meat fork in her hand and a knife beside her. She was taken into custody without incident, and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
