Lutts Man Arrested in Arson Case

   Charles Allen Risner, age 42, of Lutts, Tennessee was arrested on Friday, December 6th after a suspicious fire was reported on December 5th.

   The report filed by Investigator Dusty Malugen states that the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office received a call on December 5th about a mobile home fire at 1061 Long Hollow Road. The responding fire department requested an investigator to come to the scene due to the structure being unoccupied and having no power.

   According to the report, Risner was allegedly seen at the mobile home, and after being read his Miranda rights, he allegedly put himself at the point of origin of the fire.

   Risner was arrested on a charge of arson, a class C felony. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
