Florence Man Arrested for Meth, Marijuana, Fugitive from Justice

   Louie Dewayne Risner, age 54, of Florence, Alabama, was arrested on Friday, June 18th following a traffic stop by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. When Trooper Jeremy Miller performed the traffic stop on Risner’s vehicle, he discovered that Risner had an active warrant for violation of probation out of Florence, Alabama. A probable cause search of Risner’s vehicle went on to reveal a marijuana cigarette, 0.8 grams of methamphetamine, and a glass pipe. Risner was arrested on charges of fugitive from justice, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of schedule II meth with intent. He is being held in the Wayne County Jail with no bond.
