Adam K. Haggard, age 37, of Collinwood, was arrested on Sunday, November 29th on multiple drug-related charges, including possession of methamphetamine for resale, simple possession of Suboxone, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputy Tyler McKenzie performed a traffic stop for a registration violation on a vehicle in which Haggard was the passenger at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night. According to Deputy McKenzie’s report, after speaking with both the driver and passenger of the vehicle, he released K9 Eryk to perform an exterior search of the vehicle. The K9 allegedly alerted to the passenger door, and Deputy McKenzie then performed an interior search. The search allegedly revealed a bag in the passenger seat that contained approximately 42 grams of methamphetamine packaged into plastic bags, one Suboxone strip, THC wax, a meth pipe, a marijuana pipe, a digital scale, and a measuring scoop.
Haggard was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $180,000.00 bond.
