Luis Manuel Medina, age 36, of Collinwood, was arrested on Monday, April 26th on a meth charge following a traffic stop. Deputy Austin Lanier filed a report stating that he performed a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Medina for no tag and no functioning tag lights. Deputy Lanier’s K-9 allegedly alerted on the vehicle, giving the officer probable cause for a search. The search allegedly revealed 1.0 grams of methamphetamine in a small container in the center console. Medina was arrested on a charge of possession of schedule II methamphetamine with intent, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $75,000.00 bond.
