Clifton Man Arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault

Christopher Lee Garrard, age 49, of Clifton, TN, was arrested on Sunday, September 10 on a charge of domestic related aggravated assault. The report filed by Deputy Shamas Lewis stated that he responded to a call from a residence on Collinwood Highway. Upon arrival, the alleged victim stated that Garrard threw a phone at her, striking her in the wrist. The alleged victim went on to state that Garrard grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off the ground and choking her. Garrard was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
