Blackburn Arrested on Burglary and Theft Charges

William Ethan Blackburn, age 27, listed as homeless, was arrested on Wednesday, November 1 on charges of burglary, theft, violation of probation, and failure to appear. The report filed by Investigator Jaggar Thompson of the Clifton Police Department stated that sometime between September 9 and September 22, 2023, Blackburn allegedly broke the back glass at a residence on West Water Street in Clifton and took approximately $540 worth of items including four fishing reels, a cordless drill, a fishing rod, and a bag. Upon gaining permission from the homeowner where Blackburn has allegedly been staying, some of the items were recovered, including the fishing rod and reels. Blackburn was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond due to the violation of probation and failure to appear.
