Arrests Include Grand Jury Capias, Transporting Marijuana into Prison

Marshall Francher Dixon, age 53, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Monday, March 21 on charges dating back to September 21, 2021. Warrants for Dixon were issued at that time on charges of driving on a revoked/suspended license 5th offense, evading arrest, and violation of probation. The Wayne County Grand Jury indicted Dixon on these charges on February 1, 2022 and he was arrested on March 21, 2022. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond.

Tamara Lashea Murry

Tamara Lashea Murry, age 48, of Milan, TN, was arrested on Saturday, March 26 on charges of introduction of contraband into a penal institution and possession of Schedule VI drugs. The report filed by Investigator Steve Wilson of the Clifton Police Department stated that Murry acquired and transported 4.7 ounces of marijuana, allegedly concealing the marijuana on her person with the intent to deliver it to a state inmate at South Central Correctional Facility. She was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $75,000.00 bond.
