Alabama Men Arrested for Aggravated Assault

   Michael Heath Thomas, age 36, of Florence, Alabama and William Zachary Walden, age 31, of Killen, Alabama were arrested on Thursday, January 23^rd after allegedly assaulting Cody Howard Givens. The report filed by Investigator Matt Retherford stated that Walden and Thomas held Givens at gunpoint and Walden struck Givens multiple times in the head with a pool stick. While Givens was incapacitated on the floor, both men allegedly continued to punch and kick him. Thomas was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond. Walden was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and felon in possession of a firearm, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $60,000.00 bond.
