Alabama Man Arrested on 2019 Warrants

   Jeremy Dale Benson, age 41, of Waterloo, Alabama, was arrested on Tuesday, December 22^nd on warrants from 2019. The report filed by Investigator Dusty Malugen stated that on Wednesday, August 20^th, 2019, Benson allegedly admitted to backing over a motorcycle at a residence on Highway 69 in Lutts. Benson then allegedly left the residence after heavily damaging the motorcycle. Benson was charged in this offense with one count of vandalism over $2,500. Investigator Malugen also reported that on Monday, October 21^st, 2019, Benson allegedly admitted to being in possession of a truck stolen from Middle Cypress Road in Cypress Inn. Benson was further charged with theft over $1,000-under $2,500. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
