Kimberly Sue Alvarez, age 49, of Lawrenceburg, TN, was arrested on Wednesday, May 31 on multiple charges. According to the report filed by Deputy Mai Kinney, Alvarez was on a complainant’s property after being told to leave. The complainant allegedly stated that she observed Alvarez smoking out of a “bong.” A search of Alvarez’ vehicle allegedly revealed two hydrocodone pills, 0.6 grams of methamphetamine, three Diazepam pills, a crushed Suboxone pill, two pipes used to smoke marijuana, two marijuana grinders, two pipes used to smoke methamphetamine, one plastic object that had been turned into a “bong,” and a glass tube with holes and black residue. Alvarez was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II controlled substance, manufacture/deliver/sell/possess methamphetamine, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge of introduction of contraband into a penal institution was added after 0.3 grams of meth was allegedly found in Alvarez’ personal belongings while being searched at the jail. Alvarez is being held in the Wayne County Jail on $225,000.00 bond.
