Our beloved Stephanie Anne Mathis passed away November 18, 2023. Stephanie was a long-time resident of Smyrna, TN where her family moved to in the early 70’s. Stephanie is preceded in death by her father, Gene Marshal Mathis, Sr. and her two brothers, Gene Jr. and Bryan Mathis. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Mathis, and many loving cousins and friends. Stephanie was born August 4, 1965. She was a graduate of Smyrna High School and studied at MTSU. She was a devoted fan of UT Volunteer Football and basketball. Stephanie was a sweet and gentle soul who loved life and her family. We will miss her dearly.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, December 2, at 1:00PM with Kerry Franks officiating at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro TN. Burial followed in North Highland Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
