Rebecca (Susie) Smith, who dedicated over 21 years of her life to Capstar Bank of Collinwood, passed away on April 20, 2024. She was born on September 28, 1966, to the late Ralph Smith Jr. and Penelope Brewer. Rebecca’s kindness and hard work touched many lives during her career at the bank.
In her free time, Rebecca found joy in spoiling and spending time with her granddaughter.
Susie is survived by her daughter Sadie Lard (Daniel), sister Tina Risner (Tommy), niece and nephew Colt Risner (Kyla), Max Risner (Maicee), Nick Moore (Bridget), Jobie Janes (Jason), great nieces and nephew Harbor Moore, Avree, Harlow, Blair, Blayke, Jaya, Jude, and grandchild Bella Lard.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by a sister Charlotte Moore.
Susie’s presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends as they remember the beautiful soul she was. May she rest in peace.
Susie will be remembered with love and affection during the visitation and funeral service to be held on April 23, 2024, at the Collinwood Church of God in Collinwood, TN. The visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM with Josh Stults, Nelson Moffett and Jason Janes officiating.
