Margie Leann Griggs, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Born July 10, 1938 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Walter Gallaher and the late Mattie Gallaher. She was a long-time member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ. Along with her husband of sixty-two years, the late Carl Griggs, she owned and operated a jewelry store and later a music shop on the square in Waynesboro for many years. Her sweet nature and positive outlook on life lifted the spirits of those around her. Through her steadfast faith in God, she was a great example of how to live and treat others. Always desiring to help others, Margie donated her body to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
