   Robert Lee Lipscomb passed away on December 14, 2023 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 70. He was born on July 8, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Willodean and the late Grady Lee Lipscomb

   Dedicated to his beliefs, Robert was a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. He found solace in studying the history of the Church and immersed himself in its teachings. A voracious reader, he sought knowledge through books that delved into the complexities of theology and philosophy.

   Known for his kind and caring nature, Robert derived immense joy from his role as a grandfather. Spending time with his three grandchildren brought him immeasurable happiness. His face would light up as he joined them in their playful pursuits, surprising them with balloons and bubbles. These cherished moments created memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.

   Robert leaves behind a legacy that will endure through his loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Willodean Brewer Lipscomb; two daughters, Lisette Lipscomb Liang (Sean) and Kandice Coffey (Zach); and his adored grandchildren: Addilee Ruth Coffey, Aleah Rose Coffey, and Wolfgang Yisheng Liang. He also leaves behind a sister, Joyce (Bender) Lipscomb.

   Although he has left this world, Robert is reunited in eternity with his father, Grady Lee Lipscomb; sister, Linda (McCord) Lipscomb; and niece, Kari Melissa Brown.

   A visitation will be held at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Waynesboro on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service officiated by Brother Kerry Franks at 1:00 p.m. Robert will be laid to rest at Highland Methodist Church Cemetery.
