   Rex Howard Golden, of Collinwood, TN, passed away on February 12, 2024 in Lawrenceburg, TN at the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 24 days. He was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Howard Leroy Golden and Bonnie Ann Martin.

   Throughout his life, Rex had various occupations that showcased his hard work and dedication. He spent many years at Thacker Casket Company in Florence, AL as a material roller before moving on to a sawmill where he skillfully stacked lumber. Rex also ventured into the field of construction, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship.

   Rex is survived by his children, Jessica Thorne and Jarrod Golden of Alabama; his sisters, Bonnie Lynne Robertson (Ted M.) of Collinwood, TN and Terri Atwell (David) of Iron City, TN; his brother, Christopher Howard Golden of Boliver, TN; nephews, Shannon Holt, Jordan Holt, Shawn Golden, and Blake Kelley; nieces, Jessica and Ashely; four great-nephews; and grandchild, Natalie.

   In addition to his parents, Rex is preceded in death by his sister Reba Golden.

   Graveside services were held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Macedonia Cemetery with John Harold officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors assisted the family.
