Mrs. Reba Jane Rich Pigg Holt of Collinwood, Tennessee departed this life on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 6 Months, 7 Days. She was born June 13, 1938 in Cypress Inn, TN, the daughter of the late Lewis Franklin and Virgie Bell Pigg Rich. She married John H. Pigg in June of 1956 and he departed her in death, September 12, 1973 and married Curtis D. Holt, June, 30, 1990. Mrs. Holt was a retired supervisor from Angelica Manufacturing Company.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis D. Holt, Collinwood, TN; daughter, Shelia Smith, husband, Smitty, Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Brian Smith, wife, Ryan and Michelle Pigg, fiance’, Brent Holt; step-grandchildren, Brittany and Tyler Presson; great-grandchildren; Carter and Corbin Smith and Griffin and Brilea Pigg; step-great-grandchild, Atlas Tatum; brother, Russell Rich, Waynesboro, TN; special nieces and nephew, Patti Robertson and Celia McKolay and Jamie Pigg and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Gertie Arnett, Viva Garrett, Beulah Bourland, Elsie Brown, Edith Hollander, and an infant sister; brothers, Carmel, Erby, Fred, James, and Robert Rich.
Services were Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearers were Carter Smith, Corbin Smith, Brian Smith, Griffin Pigg, Brent Holt, and Peyton Pigg.
