Mr. Paul D. Sherrill of Collinwood, Tennessee was born on September 22, 1944 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the son of the late Clay and Effie Foster Sherrill. He was united in marriage to the former Robnetta Huskey on July 3, 1971. Mr. Sherrill was a construction worker and departed this life on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 75 Years, 11 Months and 5 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Robnetta Huskey Sherrill of Collinwood, TN, and his son, Brent Paul Sherrill of Collinwood, TN; his two brothers, John William Sherrill and Reacel Sherrill, both of Waynesboro, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sherrill was preceded in death by five brothers, Dee, Lonzo, Elzo, Edward, and Clay Sherrill, Jr.
Funeral services for Paul D. Sherrill were held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, TN, with Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Gardens of Wayne County in Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation for him was on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home in Collinwood, TN. Serving as pallbearers were Jared Sherrill, Derrek Sherrill, Chris Sherrill, Nick Sherrill, Greg Sherrill, and Scott Devers, and serving as honorary pallbearers were Daekon Sherrill, Jeff Sherrill, and Doug Sherrill.
