Opal I. Haymons Campbell, age 93, of Clifton, TN passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired accountant, and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star #257.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tabe and Mary Griggs Haymons; her husband, Charles G. Campbell; six brothers, Jack Haymons, Elton “Berry” Haymons, Othell “Samp” Haymons, Rob Haymons, Charlie Haymons, and Travis Haymons; and two sisters, Dean Shrader and Betty Elmore.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Fralix of Clifton, TN; one granddaughter, Margaret French of Clifton, TN; two great-grandchildren, Vicky White and Eric French, both of Clifton, TN; two great-great-grandchildren, Rose White and Ivan White, both of Clifton, TN; and sister-in-law, Ruby Haymons of California.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family received friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
