In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Mary Jane Louise Lemon, who was born on October 2, 1948, as the cherished daughter of the late John and Julia Galvin Toomey. She embarked on a beautiful journey, sharing 44 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Charles Lemon. Mary dedicated many years to her profession as an Office Administrator, touching the lives of those she worked with.
Mary peacefully departed this life on December 10, 2023. At the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 8 days, she left behind a tapestry of love and memories that will forever live in the hearts of her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband Charles Lemon of Iron City, TN; a daughter, Julie Cross and husband Clayton; a son, Christian Lemon and wife Haley; a sister, Elizabeth Senkus; a brother, John Toomey; twelve grandchildren, Lynne Hare, Michael Hare, Chloee Cross, Kylie Cross, Jodi Cross, Annabelle Cross, Becca Cross, Charley Cross, Iris Lemon, Orion Lemon, Clover Lemon, Vincent; and four great-grandchildren, Ariana Hare, Jace Hare, Aiden Hilliard, Caleb Hilliard.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lemon was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hare and two sisters, Noreen Quinn, Jean Ferrier.
At the family’s request, Mrs. Lemon will be cremated.
