Ms. Marilyn Lodema Knapp passed from this life on December 27, 2023, at her home in Clifton, TN at the age of 76 years 11 months and 30 days. She was born to the late Walter Henry and Anna Van Tol Knapp December 29, 1946, in Bay City, MI. She worked for many years as a nurse and loved people. She devoted her life to helping those in need in the different places she lived; other than Michigan, she lived in Las Vegas where she gave homeless people sleeping bags and hygienic items such as toothbrushes, food and water. She moved to the Clifton area in 2016 with her family and enjoyed helping with the food bank in her town. In her younger years, she enjoyed cake decorating, and later in life served as a member of the local Rotary Club. She attended the Clifton Revival Center in Clifton but wherever she may have attended worship her heart always belonged to her Lord as well as her church family, community and family.
She is survived by her sons James Allred of Clifton, TN and Gabriel Allred of Utah; daughters Jesica Allred Dawes of Las Vegas, NV and Angela Allred Young; siblings include Paulette Rabideaux, and Sonny Knapp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Martin.
Memorial Services for Ms. Marilyn Knapp will be held on Sunday January 28, 2024, at the Clifton Revival Center in Clifton TN at 1:00 pm with Shayne Riley officiating.
Visitation will begin Sunday January 28, 2024 from 12:00 noon till service time at 1:00 pm.
