Margaret Jo Long was born December 15, 1930 in Lexington, AL, the daughter of the late Raymond Ollie and Ola Tomlin. She was united in marriage to Amos Herschel Long on September 23, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2016. Margaret retired from Mallory Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Faith Church of God. Margaret departed this life on July 20, 2023 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 92 years, 7 months, and 5 days.
She is survived by son, Raymond Herschel Long of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Brenda Kay Ryan of Willington, NC, Shelia Glover of Waynesboro, TN, and Debbie Allen of Waynesboro, TN; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret is preceded in death by son, William Long Tomlin; daughter, Rhonda Jo McDonald; and sister, Betty Rose Foster.
