   Lessie May Collins Clark was born on April 11, 1944 in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, the daughter of the late James and Emma May Coke Collins. She was a homemaker, attended the County Line Full Gospel Church, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She departed this life on August 15, 2021 at the age of 77 Years, 4 Months, and 4 Days.

   She is survived by her fiancé, Pete Nixon of Waynesboro, TN; a son, David Louis Clark and wife Dana of Castalian Springs, TN; two brothers, Fred Collins, Bill Collins; two sisters, Nancy Michling, Pat Abraham; five grandchildren, Samantha Clark, Katie Williams, Destiny Thacker, Cole Clark, Matthew Clark; and three great-grandchildren, Kaden Clark, Ethan Lovelace, Scott Barger.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Clark; three brothers, Eddie Collins, Sam Collins, James Collins, Jr.; and a sister, Thelma Michling.

  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and also on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford in Waynesboro, TN. Services will be on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford in Waynesboro with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
