Kobe Lee Thompson, 5/13/1998-12/23/23, was born in Columbia, TN, the son of Jennifer Franks & the late Christopher Dwayne Thompson.

He leaves behind his wife, Caitline Stults Thompson & their beautiful son Christopher Suede Thompson of Collinwood, mother, Jennifer Franks of Clifton, TN, brother, Hunter Dwayne Thompson (Brianna Sherrill) & niece Trinity Sherrill of Waynesboro, paternal grandparents, Maynard & Wanda Thompson, maternal grandparent, Jennie Franks, & uncle, Michael Thompson.

Preceding him in death was his father, Christopher Dwayne Thompson, maternal grandfather, Stanley Franks, paternal great-grandparents, Maynard Thompson, Sr., Nadine West, Henry & Dean Odle, maternal great-grandparents, Kermit & Jewel Franks, Joe & Ivogene Moore.

Kobe was a machinist through the Machinist Local 65 of Alabama, as his brother Hunter.

To know Kobe was to love him. To watch him with his son was a living testimony of true and pure love. Those closest to Kobe know that Suede gave Kobe life with a purpose & direction. His life with Caitline & little Suede was God’s answered prayers. Nothing was more precious to him than his family with Cait & Suede. But Kobe’s love did not stop there. He had an understanding heart for those who were broken & has helped others in so many ways, silent & unknown other than by those people & God. He had a loving heart who saw any & everyone as human, good or bad, that deserved love & acceptance regardless of where they were in life or what situation they may have come from. He literally would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Kobe was a rare & loyal friend to those placed in his life. You could always count on hugs and an, “I love you” anytime he met you.

Our hearts are broken but we know who has our precious Kobe and all those who welcomed him into Heaven as Jesus walked him home.
