Kerry Lee Burleson, age 63, of Waynesboro, TN, passed from this life on November 11, 2023 with his wife of 43 years by his side. He was born April 26, 1960, in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a former employee of the Wayne County School system for 27 years and a member of County Line Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles, Sr. and Emma Burleson; brothers, Anthony, Richard and Alvie Burleson; a sister, Amy Burleson. He is survived by his wife, Linda Burleson; two sons, David (Mandy) and Kerry Lynn (Magen); daughter, Mercedes Kelley (James) of Pell City, AL; seven grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 13, from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, November 14, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro.
Services were held on Tuesday November 14, at 1:00pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro.
Interment followed at Worley Cemetery.
