Kathryn Dixon, 81, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and loved ones on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on April 19, 1942 to Guy and Louise (Prater) Blalock in Collinwood, Tennessee.
Kathryn worked at North Elementary School for 25 years and was a member of World Wide Church of God. She played basketball in high school. Kathryn married Oscar Dixon and they were married for 65 years. She loved cooking and baking for her family and grandkids.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Oscar L. Dixon; children, Tony Dixon, Lori (Andy) Wilmot, Barry (Michelle) Dixon, and Melissa Dixon (Joe Thompson); brother, Danny (Geraldine) Blalock; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Lee Blalock and Sam Blalock; grandson, Adam Dixon; and great-grandson, Lane Buck.
Visitation was from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Pastor Andrew Smiley officiated. Burial was at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
