Jeff “Spicoli” English Montgomery

   Jeff “Spicoli” English Montgomery, of Collinwood, TN, passed away on October 9, 2023, in Columbia, TN, at the age of 56 years, 1 month, 9 days. Born on August 30, 1967 in Bermuda, the son of June Montgomery and the late Larry Montgomery. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Anita Montgomery on January 4, 2006.

   Jeff graduated from Giles County High School in 1985. He went on to serve his country with honor as a member of the United States Air Force. During his service, he was stationed at the Elgin and Grand Forks bases and bravely served during Desert Storm.

   After his time in the military, Jeff pursued a successful career in production and administration. He held various roles within different businesses and eventually found himself as the plant manager at Trimatic Springs and Southern Plating in Savannah, TN.

   Jeff enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing and passionately following the Tennessee Vols. He was also a fan of Donald Trump. He had an infectious smile and laughter that lit up any room he entered.

   He is survived by sons: Jeffrey Montgomery, Jr. of Pulaski, TN, Dylan Montgomery of Lawrenceburg, TN, Mikel Montgomery of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jackson Montgomery (Baylee) of Collinwood, TN; daughters: Cayla Donaldson of Lawrenceburg, TN, Chloe Montgomery of Collinwood, TN; stepson: Kaleb Clark (McKaylin) of Collinwood, TN; stepdaughters: Amanda Daniels (Nick) of Nashville, TN, Kerri Price (Brent) of Memphis, TN; grandchild, Marley Montgomery and an expected one on the way; step-grandchildren: Ella Price, Clark Daniels, Kason Clark, Raelyn Clark, Maebri Clark, Landon Price, Jenson Daniels; mother, June Montgomery of Pulaski, TN; brother, Timothy Montgomery (Helen) of Cahoka, IL; sister, Stephanie Montgomery of Pulaski, TN; nephews: Taylor Walters, Charles Montgomery, Glenn Cross; his best friends, James Smith, Pete Hughes, Mike Ricketts, and Ray Ammons; and his loyal canine companion, Jinxe.

   He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Anita Montgomery and his father Larry Montgomery.

   Because of his love for the Tennessee Vols, Jeff’s family would like everyone to attend the memorial service to   celebrate his life by wearing casual clothing representing UT orange.

   In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to be made to Collinwood Quarterback Club, P.O. Box 73 Collinwood, TN 38450.

   Visitation will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 9:00 am till 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood.

   Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Military Honors.
