   Ima Jean Dickey Nutt of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born March 13, 1930 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clint and Ada Daniel Dickey. She was united in marriage to Paul J. Nutt on October 28, 1948, and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2003. Mrs. Nutt was retired from Genesco and was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ. Mrs. Nutt departed this life on January 21, 2021 at the age of 90 Years, 10 Months, 7 Days.

   She is survived by sons, Lynn Nutt, Debbie, Oakland, TN & Steve Nutt, Sandra, Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Susan Manchester, Larry, Columbia, TN & Lisa White, Danny, Waynesboro, TN;
nine grandchildren, Lori Daniels, husband, Tim, Huntington, IN, Samantha Nutt, Nobelsville, IN, Tyler Nutt, Tampa, FL, Kelly Lester, Union, WA, Amanda Bosheers, husband, Steven, Sabastian, FL, Andrea Montgomery, husband, Josh, Columbia, TN, Ashlee Long, husband, Charles, Waynesboro, TN, Nathan White, wife, Jessica, Waynesboro, TN, Nick White, wife, Jamie Ann, Lawrenceburg, TN; 15 great-grandchildren, Alex, Dylan, Zach, John Paul, Danny, Kayla, Sarah, Maddie, Jackson, Madden, Makohl, Cody, Boone, Paul J, & Ada; and many nieces & nephews.

   Mrs. Nutt was a Christian and avid gardener, baker, quilter and caregiver to so many. She was generous, hardworking and a selfless servant to the community. She loved her family and church family. Her incredible strength and love have impacted each of us in amazing ways.

   Due to COVID-19, a private family service was held with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting.
   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Waynesboro Church of Christ or the Butterfly Foundation.
