It is with heavy hearts that we gather today to honor the life and legacy of Hollie Danielle Daniel. Born on March 12, 1985, in Florence, AL. Hollie was the beloved daughter of Daniel (Danny) Richard and Jessica Leigh Littleton McWilliams.
Hollie embarked on a journey of love and companionship when she exchanged vows with Shannon Dave Daniel on November 7, 2014. Together, they built a life filled with dedication and cherished moments. A woman of many talents, Hollie dedicated herself to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her compassionate nature extended beyond her professional career, as she lovingly embraced her role as a homemaker, leaving her mark on the community. Additionally, Hollie contributed her skills to her father-in-law’s poultry house. Hollie was deeply rooted in her faith and sought solace within the walls of Burns Chapel Church. Mrs. Daniel departed this life at her home with her husband by her side on September 5, 2023, at the age of 38 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
She is survived by husband, Shannon Dave Daniel of Collinwood, TN; parents, Daniel and Jessica McWilliams of Collinwood, TN; two brothers, Chandler Daniel McWilliams (Mackenzie) of Collinwood, TN, and Blake Alexander McWilliams (Maranda) of Waynesboro, TN; stepson, Braxton Daniel; two stepdaughters, Glenna Caroline Daniel and Olivia Scarlet Daniel, both of Collinwood, TN; a sister Megan Jessica Risner (Ken) of Collinwood, TN; grandfather, Willard “Pa” McWilliams; a niece, Makaleigh Risner; and two nephews, Levi Karson and Luke Riley Risner.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Doris Littleton and mother-in-law, Glenda Daniel; aunt, Myra Littleton; uncle, Tracey McWilliams.
Pallbearers: Bradley Jackson, Austin Littleton, Dustin Smith, Jamie Steele, Nathan Daniel, Jonathon Warrington, Terry Stricklin, and Jeff Sherrills. Their steadfast support reflects the love and friendship that surrounded Hollie throughout her journey.
Funeral services were held on September 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood with Edward Burbank officiating. Burial was held at Lutts Cemetery in Lutts, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors assisted the family.
