Guillermo “Bill” Rodriguez

  Guillermo “Bill” Rodriguez, age 68, of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born in Habana, Cuba on January 16, 1953, the son of the late Jose and Rosario Rodriguez. Bill graduated from Duke University and University of Florida School of Law. He practiced law for 12 years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Upon relocating to West Virginia, he began working for an automobile dealership. In 2001, he moved to Waynesboro, TN, working first at Ace Hardware then Duncan’s Hardware in Hohenwald, TN. He was united in marriage to Janie McNemar, RN of Buckhannon, WV on April 19, 2001. Bill departed this life on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 68. He was at home under the loving care of his wife, family, and hospice.

   In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Edward Rodriguez and wife Bonnie; his children, Allison, Amanda, and their spouses; Anthony and Angelina Rodriguez; his step-children Meghan Beavers and spouse Joseph and Stan Wilt and significant other; three grandchildren, Seth and Wesley Beavers, Nadia Rodriguez; one nephew, Kenny Rodriguez; two nieces, Denise and Rebecca Rodriguez. He also had a great-nephew Nathaniel and great-niece Savannah.

   Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He chose to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
