   Gary Burgess Warren was born January 14, 1952 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Guy Alvin and Hazel Burgess Warren. He was united in marriage to Nancy Carol Alley on October 1, 1984. He was employed as a deckhand with the Crounse Corporation, then he retired from the Vulcan Corporation after many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clifton and Masonic Lodge #173. Mr. Warren departed this life on July 21, 2021 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 6 Months, 7 Days.

   He is survived by his wife Nancy Carol (Alley) Warren of Clifton, TN; son, Gary Burgess Warren II and wife Kelsey of Bath Springs, TN; daughters, Teresa Ricketts and husband Tony, Stephanie McGee and husband Terry, Gindy Shelby and husband Shaun  all of  Clifton, TN, Miranda Williams and husband T.J. of Blakely, GA; grandchildren, Dustin Denton, Donovan Denton, Cameron Ricketts and wife Victoria, Jessica Hickerson, Dillon Allen and wife Joanna, Walker Allen, Gary  Burgess (Tripp) Warren III, Tinley Warren, Ava Jo Williams; brothers, Gerald (Bo) Warren and wife Patricia of Linden, TN, Jerry Dale (Petey) Warren and wife Teresa of Clifton, TN; sister Sandra Geannine Eaves of Clifton, TN, great-grandchildren Maebri Denton, Olivia Irwin, and Beckett Allen. In addition to his parents, Mr. Warren was preceded in death by an aunt, Mary Ethel Camfield Ferguson.

   A graveside service was held on July 24, 2021 at the Clifton Cemetery in Clifton, Tennessee with Randall Runions officiating and with Masonic Rites offered at the cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, July 24 at the First Baptist Church in Clifton from 11:00am till 12:30 pm.

   Active pallbearers included Robert Bunch, Chris Pope, Layton Packwood, Bill Howard, Tony Ricketts, Tim O’Guinn, Glen Lineberry, and Tom Seltzer. Honorary pallbearers included Terry Alley and Paul Franks.
