David Wayne Brown of Collinwood, Tennessee was born on August 8, 1980 in Lawrenceburg, Lawrence County, TN. He was the son of Ben David Brown, who survives, of Collinwood, TN and the late Joyce Marie Pulley Brown. Mr. Brown departed this life on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home in Collinwood, TN after an extended illness at the age of 39 years, 11 months and 11 days. He had worked as a laborer at Morgan Lumber Company, Dura Automotive, Hollis Academy, and enjoyed logging with his dad. Mr. Brown was of the Baptist faith.
Other than his dad, Ben David Brown of Collinwood, TN, he is survived by a son, Dylan Wayne Brown of KY; a sister, Teresa Renee Brown Meadors, and husband, Ritchie of Collinwood, TN; his girlfriend, Nellie Norato of Collinwood, TN. In addition to his mother, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lora Bell and Elmer Lee Brown and Mary Elizabeth and Harry Pulley.
Visitation for Mr. Brown was Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm and Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Camryn Eaton officiating. Burial was in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Serving as pallbearers were Ritchie Meadors, Dylan Brown, Jason Gallaher, Mark Whitney, Ben Gallaher, Gus Norato, and Billy Brewer.
