   It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David E. Dale, a beloved member of our community. Born on July 13, 1955, in Columbia, TN, David was the son of the late James Irvin and Allie Tinker Dale. He was a devoted member of Cornerstone Church of Collinwood.

   David’s hard work and dedication were evident in his career at Premier Manufacture GM plant, where he remained until his retirement where he moved to Wayne County. He was also a member of United Auto Workers.

   On February 28, 2024, Mr. Dale peacefully departed this life at the age of 68 in Iron City, TN. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be treasured.

   David is survived by his wife, Deborah Brewer Dale; Son, David Scott Dale and Renee of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter, Kelly Nicole Dale Rumbaugh and Jaime; nine grandchildren, Breanna Sanders, Benjamin Sanders, Jaleigh Rumbaugh, Brittnye Adkins, Ashlee Boyd, Neeley Gooch, Layla Capron, Austin Capron, and Caleb Dale. 

   The visitation to honor David’s life will take place at Cornerstone Church of Collinwood on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Daniel Graves officiating.

   David E. Dale will be laid to rest at Wayne County Memorial Garden of Collinwood, where he will find eternal peace.
