   Celia Ann Bass Barnett, Waynesboro, Tennessee, was born May 17, 1941 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Boyd and Shirley Luna Dixon. She married Carroll Dean Bass and he preceded her in death, June 11, 1982. She later married Frank Allen Barnett. Mrs. Barnett, a retired secretary, worked with Methodist Publishing House. She was a member of Waynesboro First United Methodist Church and departed this life, Monday, July 27, 2020 at Boyd Cottages, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 2 Months, 10 Days. 

   Survivors, her husband, Frank Allen Barnett; daughters, Joby Hughes, husband, Mark and Bridget Crews, husband, Jason all of Waynesboro, TN; step-daughter, Jyl Davis, husband, Tim, Ringgold, GA; stepsons, Vic Barnett, wife, Kathy, Waynesboro, TN, Andee Barnett, wife, Stephanie, Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, Alex (Ben) Hargrove, Tyler Hughes, Karson Crews, Raegan Crews, Maegan Edwards, Joel (Destin) Barnett, Heath (April) Davis, Hannah (Josh) Coulter, Katie Barnett, Emmie Barnett, Addie Barnett, Brennan Huff, Katelyn (Matt) Kline; great-grandchildren, Camryn, Dakota, Madalynn, Hazel, Stratton, Stricklin, Tate, Iley and baby Franklin Heath; brother-in-law, Rick Barnett, wife, Marsha, Hendersonville, TN; sisters-in-law, Jeanine Dixon and June Steele, husband, Jeter all of Waynesboro, TN and Betty Hurst, Trussville, AL and she was blessed with many special nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Besides her first husband and her parents, Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by daughter, Ann Carol Bass; brother, Jimmy Dixon; brother-in-law, Gene Hurst; grandson, Elijah (Jack) Edwards.

   Graveside services were Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee. Bro. Chris Blalock officiated. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisted the family.  Pallbearers were Tyler Hughes, Ben Hargrove, Joel Barnett, Heath Davis, Josh Coulter and Cameron McDonald with honorary pallbearers being Chris Dixon, Nicky Dixon, David Dixon, Seth Dixon, Ashton Dixon, Lucas Averett, Ethan Lacher and Danny Davis.
