   Brenda Jeanette Borden Kelley was born January 28, 1954 in Russellville, AL, the daughter of Mittie Cordelia Guin Borden and the late William Borden. She loved God and was of the Baptist faith. Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. Brenda loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. She is going to be greatly missed. Brenda departed this life on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Cypress Inn, TN at the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

   She is survived by sons, Jamie Stults (Emily) of Iron City, TN, Jason Stults of Iron City, TN, and Jeremy Stults of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter, Shannon Johnson (Derrick) Cypress Inn, TN; special daughter, Joy Daniel (Bo) of Cypress Inn; brothers, James Borden (Barbara), Reecie Borden (Sue), Odell Borden (Jennifer), and Darren Borden (Angie), all of Iron City, TN; sister, Shelia Melson (Charlie) of Iron City, TN; and sister-in-law, Paula Borden of Iron City, TN; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

   In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by infant brother, Kennith Borden; and brother, Timmy Borden.

   Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Stateline Church in Iron City, TN with Jarred Borden, Wayne Dotson, and Greg Stults officiating. Burial was in Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

   Pallbearers: Joey Stults, Brice McCurry, Dru Daniel, Westin Daniel, Dustin Borden, Ethan Borden, Adam Bigelow, and Dylan Muston.

   Honorary pallbearers: James Borden, Reecie Borden, Odell Borden, Darren Borden, and Charlie Melson.
