On February 23, 2024, the gentle soul of Bonnie Nell Tidwell Andrews peacefully departed from this world in Nashville, TN. She was born on April 30, 1936, to the late Ozro and Nana Hollis Tidwell. In July 1954, she embarked on a journey of love and companionship with William Haggard Andrews, a journey that lasted until he bid his farewell in 1993.

Throughout her life, Bonnie graced the world with her dedication and compassion as a Licensed Practical Nurse for NHC Lawrenceburg for an impressive span of 29 years before retiring in 2007. Her commitment to healing touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on her community. A woman of unwavering faith, Bonnie found solace and strength in her Christian beliefs as she navigated life’s joys and challenges.

Bonnie leaves behind a legacy cherished by her surviving loved ones: daughters, June Horton (Danny) of Murfreesboro, TN, Teresa Wilkerson (Keith) of Colbert, GA; sister, Shirley Caperton (D.F.) of Iron City, TN; son-in-law, Rick Summerville of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren, April Horton (Shannon), Nathan Horton (Carey), Erin Cooley (Greg), William Wilkerson (Rachel), and Laura Dunn (Seth); beloved great-grandchildren, Sophie, Leanna, Landon, Kilian, Skylar, Katie, Grayson, Naomi, Alexandria, Athan, Elkan, Pierce, and Evangeline.

With heavy hearts, we remember those who passed before her: daughters, Susan Diane Andrews and Glenda Gay Summerville; sisters, Joyce Moore and Mary Lou Tidwell.
