Mr. Ben David Brown was born May 5, 1954 in Waynesboro, Tennessee to the union of the late Elmer Lee and Lora Belle Scott Brown. Mr. Brown was a self-employed logger, and a member of the Church of God. Mr. Brown departed this life on August 4, 2020, making his stay in this life 66 Years, 2 Months and 30 Days.
He is survived by his companion, Marcella Gallaher of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Teresa Meadors (Ritchie) of Collinwood, TN; three step-sons, Jason Gallaher (Mariah) of Iowa, Shawn Gallaher of Cypress Inn, TN, Benjamin Gallaher (Kendra) of Collinwood, TN; a step-daughter, Bridget Gallaher of Florence, AL; two grandchildren, Maria and Dylan Brown; five step-grandsons, three step-granddaughters; three sisters, Iva Lee Anderson (Jerry) of Clifton, TN, Faye Shaneyfelt of Murfreesboro, TN, and Pat Prince (Jimmy) of Lawrenceburg, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Brown; two sisters, Reba Lynn Brown and Jackie McNatt; and a brother, Don Brown.
Services were held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood, with Camryn Eaton officiating. Burial followed in the McGlamery Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee.
