Ann M. Faires, a resident of Florence, AL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023. She entered into matrimony with Glen H. Faires on August 31, 1969. Ann’s career as a hairdresser flourished until the day of her retirement. Devoted to her faith, she was an esteemed member of the Pine Hill Church of Christ. Ann enjoyed cooking as well as a profound love of flowers.
Survived by her brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Pat Craig, as well as her brother-in-law and wife Gary and Doris Faires, and sister-in-law and husband Jewel and Robert Bain, sisters-in-law Linda Faires and Sandra Faires Bogle. Ann also leaves behind a host of adoring nieces and nephews.
Preceding Ann in death are her beloved husband Glen H. Faires as well as her parents James B. and Wylodean Wright Craig.
The family will receive visitors at Pine Hill Church of Christ located at 1024 Co. Rd. 10 in Waterloo, AL on Wednesday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation. Burial will take place in the serene Pine Hill Cemetery with Nolan Burns and Steve McFall officiating over the service. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family.
