Alexie Shai Hargrove, 27, a resident of Gene Fitzgerald Road in Columbia, died Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services will be Wednesday April 12, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Theodore Durham officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 3:00 P.M – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born September 7, 1995, in Maury County, she was the daughter of Joey (Diane) Hargrove and Vanessa Hampton. Ms. Hargrove was a 2014 graduate of Wayne County High School, and 2016 graduate of Columbia State. She was a Christian and grew up attending Fairview Church of Christ with her grandparents. She enjoyed going to the beach, loved animals, sunflowers and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by brothers, Charlie (Cassie) Mosley, Will (Amanda) Mosley, Brandon (Khearra) Mosley and Jaggar Hampton of Waynesboro; a stepbrother, Colton Griggs; three nephews and seven nieces. Ms. Hargrove had numerous special friends, including Alex Devlin, Dee Juarez, Angie Creecy, Desi Skelley, and Madi Smotherman. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnny Harris, J.W. Hargrove (Patricia), and Louise Hargrove.
Active pallbearers will be her family and honorary pallbearers will be her special friends.
