   Mrs. Patricia Nutt Coggins was born Friday, January 26, 1951 in Delano, California to Ray and Dena Mae Quillen Nutt. Mrs. Pat was united in marriage to Paul Coggins on May 16, 1969. She worked for the Wayne County Board of Education for 28 years as a Kindergarten Teacher and then served as the Pre-K Director. She was a faithful member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ where she always enjoyed teaching children’s Bible class. She will be lovingly remembered for her love for reading, sewing, and gardening. She especially loved to hunt for seashells at the beach and spend as much time as she could with her grandkids. Mrs. Pat passed from this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Nashville, TN, making her stay in this life some 72 years 1 month and 25 days.

   She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of almost 54 years, Paul Coggins of Waynesboro, TN; her children, Paula Morris and husband Greg, Amy Lee and husband Gregg, both of Waynesboro, TN; Emily Loy and husband Bryan of Pensacola, FL; and Brian Coggins and wife Rebekah of Columbia, TN; her siblings, Rayetta Martin, Butch Nutt and wife Sherry, and Sarah Turman, all of Waynesboro, TN; ten grandchildren, Matty Cate Morris, Emma Morris, Sadie Lee, Annie Lee, Maggie Lee, Rubye Mae Loy, Hudson Coggins, Kinnley Coggins, Cason Coggins, and Avie Coggins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Dena Mae Quillen Nutt.

   Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Wayne Furnace Church of Christ beginning at 2:00 PM with Brian Coggins, Kenley Bates, Gregg Lee, and Cary Crews officiating. Burial followed in the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ Cemetery.
