   William Edward (Bill) Brown, Iron City, Tennessee, was born December 21, 1946 in Lutts, Tennessee, the son of the late Fred and Minnie C. Robbins Brown. He married the former Virginia Gale Brewer, July 18, 1970. Mr. Brown, retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing, was a member of Green River Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee, a member of the American Legion and a former District 6 Wayne County Commissioner. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Brown departed this life, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 3 Months, 2 Days.

   Survivors, wife, Virginia Gale Brewer Brown, Iron City, TN; son, William  Edward Brown, II, wife, Christina, Terry, MS; daughter, Bradlee Susan Butler, husband, Biff, Estill Springs, TN; grandchildren, Madison Leanne Evans, husband, Drew, Kaylee Michelle Brown, William Edward Brown, III, Rachel MacKenzie Kuhn, husband, Luke, Grace Anne Butler, McKenzie Caitlin Brown and David Logan Kyle; brothers, Glenn Brown, wife, Pat, Collinwood, TN, Dannie Brown, wife, Debbie, Cypress Inn, TN and Freddie Brown, Wartrace, TN; sister, Elizabeth Faye (Brown) Balentine, Lutts, TN and nieces and nephews.

   Services were Friday, March 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Kerry Franks and Houston Buchanan officiating. Burial with military rites followed in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family. Pallbearers were Russell and John Holt, Randall Ayers, Ken, Ben and Will Brown, Wade Butler, Dustin Smith and Chad Balentine.
