Charles Norman Moore, age 85, of Iron City, TN, passed away Friday September 25, 2020 at home after a brief illness. He was a native of Iron City, TN, a farmer, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Williams Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are son, Stephen Moore (Trisha), Leoma, TN; daughters, Deborah Lee (Doug), Donna Butler (Roger), and Charlotte Roberson (Shawn), all of Iron City, TN; sisters, Joanna Thompson of Iron City, TN and Carolyn Fisher of St. Joseph, TN; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five great-children with one on the way in December.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Jeanette Moore; sisters, Lois Linville, Inell Holt, and Jewel Dean Tidwell; brothers, Buster, Junior, Dale, and Billy Moore; and parents, Will and Ola Risner Moore.
Funeral services were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Camryn Eaton officiated. Burial followed in Hollis Cemetery. Visitation was from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
