   Mr. Larry G. Brown was born July 6, 1949 in Clifton, Tennessee, the son of the late Samuel Bennett and Mabel Garrard Brown. Mr. Brown was a welder fabricator and spent time working on the tow boat. He was a member of the Revival Center in Waynesboro and was united in marriage to Dixie Butler on February 14, 1970. Mr. Brown departed this life on July 5, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 11 Months and 29 Days.

   He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dixie Butler Brown of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Denise Brown Boyd and husband Jessie of Waynesboro, TN; a son, David Brown and companion Leighann Jones of Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Zachary Holt, Chloe Bryant, Bennett Brown, Lincoln Brown; one great-grandchild, Emma Holt; a brother, Dennis Brown and wife Judy; three sisters, Helen Irvin and husband Gene, Kathy Poyner, Charlotte King and husband Johnnie. He is also survived by numerous nieces,  nephews, cousins, and friends.

   In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Brown and Emma Brown.
   Services were held on July 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro with Jimmy Pearcy and Joseph Wallace officiating. Burial followed in the Butler Grove Cemetery at Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting.
